Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (AD&D) 2e was the second edition of the game, released in the late 1980s.

Are you Interested in learning about how the world's most popular role playing game evolved? Did you used to play in the 1980s or 1990s, and you'd like to play with that rule system again?

We can provide a premium gaming experience, utilizing miniatures, terrain, special effects, and custom adventures. Blending the classic ruleset with modern terrain.

If you'd like a more authentic old-school experience, we can provide a full "theater of the mind" experience.

AD&D Services Offered

We are happy to play with individuals at all levels of experience but recommend some prior experience before adventuring with the older rules.

We have a collection of old-school modules that we can run, or we can run any of our newer content using the old rules as well.

1-shot game sessions: A single adventure, using provided characters, that usually lasts 2 to 5 hours.
Multi-session single adventure: A longer form adventure that can last from 5 to 15 hours. A single adventure with either provided characters or characters that we create together.
Long term campaigns that meet on what ever schedule suites your group, that last months or even years. We can provide level 1 characters or we can build new characters with you.

House Rules

Our 2nd edition house rules are minimal. The only House rule that we use is that 1st level characters begin with maximum hit points.

We do utilize some of the official optional rules, like called shots, weapon speed, and others that help the 2nd edition rules distinguish themselves.
